✝️ 2 Esdras 7:118 O Adam, what have you done? For though it was you who sinned, the fall was not yours alone but ours also who are your descendants.   I am not sure where to start here but I mourn for the people who lost faith because of the logical POE. POE means problem of evil and it basically attacks the idea of an all powerful, all loving, all knowing God with the existence of evil. There are 2 versions, one is called the logical problem of evil and the other is the evidential problem of evil. The logical problem of evil is considered dead or at least mortally wounded by most philosophers including christian and atheist philosophers, and the man who is considered the killer of the logical POE is Alvin Plantinga with his book [The Nature of Necessity](https://www.amazon.com/dp/0198244142). I am christian however I am aware that both the christian side and atheist side have good arguments and no side wins and ANYONE CLAIMING VICTORY IS EITHER A LIAR OR A FOOL! Some arguments on the christian side are the following. ``` 1. Why is there anything at all? 2. Why do math and logic work so well? 3. Why do the universe's "settings" sit in a narrow range that allow life? 4. Why do things that could not exist somehow exist? 5. Why do we have experiences? 6. Why do we think and reason? 7. Can we have true morals without a God? ``` Now here are some arguments on the atheist side. ``` 1. Why is there so much suffering that accomplishes nothing? 2. Why does God stay hidden from people looking for him? 3. Why does the universe look so hostile and empty if it's built for us? 4. Does the idea of God hold together? 5. Why do human minds create gods on their own? 6. Why do we keep explaining the world without God? 7. Why do so many clashing faiths all feel equally true? ``` The logical POE is not in the 7 and that is on purpose! Now, back to the main point of this article, the logical POE is considered dead by most in the real world. Note how I said in the real world, while being considered dead or mortally wounded in the real world it is still used heavily online! I will show four variants of the logical problem of evil and explain why they aren't disproof of God like some claim they are! I will also model the four arguments in a little toy logic I made called [apocrypha](APOCRYPHA_A_TOY_LOGIC). I truly mourn for every soul lost by this argument, they deserved to know it was already dead and no one reached them in time. (TODO)
